About

What Up
El B Si has deep roots in the fixed gear scene. Being based in SoCal has enabled us to ride and party with some of the gnarliest and sketchiest people on two wheels. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
The LBC mp3 player is available to all of you that don’t want to trash your expensive iPod on a ride. Use that sick-ass iPod to play Sada at home when you are cooking dinner for that lady friend of yours. If you’re like us, then you are tired of dropping and crushing your 160GB iPods and expensive cell phone mp3 players AND are annoyed with trying to scan through tracks when it was in our jeans or jacket pocket. We priced The LBC to make sense for your wallet. Just attach it to a carabiner or key ring and roll.
So far the fixed gear crews have been using the hell out of The LBC mp3 player, but we’ve been getting word that commuters (bike, train and foot) are loving it too. Cool.
At this point the The LBC is our only product and we’ve been getting some great responses. Hell, we may not release any other gear. At this point, we just want to ensure that fellow fixed gear bike riders get the music they need with easy access (how you like it).
Testimonials
We’ve been stoked to hear from a lot of you via email. But, we going to flip things up and have you leave your testimonials on our El B Si YouTube page in the form of a comment. We’ll then transfer them to this page. Sounds pretty sweet, huh?
Here is what some of the riders are saying:
“The LBC helps me tune out the BS…” – R. Atkins, Las Vegas
“Music is a must when I’m stuntin’. The LBC gets it done…” - T. Gonzales, LA
“I get to my favorite ramen spot faster…” - S. Billings, LA
“I cracked my iPod when I was learning how to skid. F&^%ing sucked. The LBC mp3 player is exactly what I need. I attach it to my keys on my belt loop and then go mash.” – B.L., Los Angeles
What does it all mean?
The name “El B Si” is a phonetic play on words for Long Beach, CA…aka…the LBC. We named this brand and the fixed gear-centric line of products in honor of this great city. Long Beach has been down for decades. Like many of the sections of East LA and some of the sections in the South Bay, Long Beach embraced punk and skateboarding back when they were in their infancy.
Now that there are more and more fixed gear riders representing Long Beach, it appears that the tradition continues. The good news is that the origianl punks and skaters are still here holding it down for the new breed of fixed riders. Get ready to start hearing more about the LBC and El B Si.
All of this combined with the great scenes in Silver Lake, Venice, Mar Vista, Adams, Downtown LA, China Town, Culver City, Echo Park, Hollywood, Costa Mesa, Cerritos, La Palma, Downey, La Mirada, Eagle Rock, Huntington Park, Pasadena, Orange, Tustin, Newport Beach, Fullerton and Huntington Beach the fixed gear riders in SoCal are laying it down and pushing riding forward. We wouldn’t have it any other way. All you gotta do is roll and jam an LBC mp3 player.
Ride More.
